Dibromoacetic acid

Beebe Plain Water System

NOTE: Beebe Plain Water System purchases water from Derby Line Village Water District which is required to test for dibromoacetic acid. Sample information shown below was taken by Derby Line Village Water District.

Dibromoacetic acid, one of the group of five haloacetic acids regulated by federal standards, is formed when chlorine or other disinfectants are used to treat drinking water.
