Director of Impact and Strategic Partnerships

Carrie Pezzuti joined EWG in 2022 to focus on the EWG VERIFIED® program after a long time interest in the nontoxic beauty and home care industries. She has worked for Center for Science in the Public Interest and the Johns Hopkins Center for a Livable Future. She has spent over 15 years working in marketing and visual merchandising for brands such as Lucky Brand, Williams Sonoma and Elie Tahari. Carrie has a master’s degree in food and agriculture law and policy from Vermont Law School and a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. She loves great restaurants, running, hiking, skiing, and – of course – good skincare.
