Directions from Packaging

1. Be sure room is properly ventilated. 2. Vacuum carpet to remove surface soil. 3. If carpet has not been cleaned before, check for colorfastness by spraying cleaner on a small hidden area as directed below. 4. Shake can well before using, and frequently during use. 5. Remove plastic cap. Hold can upside down, about 2 ft from carpet. Press gently on spray button to apply. 6. Wipe overspray off furniture or furniture legs. To Clean Lightly-Soiled, Normal, Traffic Areas: Holding can upside-down, move it in a sweeping side to side pattern to apply a very thin layer of foam. Let foam dry for about 15 minutes. Allow extra time in humid weather, or on deep pile or shag carpets. When foam is completely dry, vacuum carpet in two directions, thoroughly removing all foam and loosened soil. For best results, use maximum suction and a new vacuum bag. To Clean Heavily-Soiled, High Traffic Areas: Spray a thin layer of foam on a 3 ft square area. Using a clean, wet sponge mop, scrub area in one direction. Then scrub same section at right angles to work foam into carpet fibers. Finish by mopping in one direction to raise carpet's nap. Rinse mop in clean water. Continue mopping in 3 ft square areas until entire carpet has been cleaned. Allow carpet to dry completely - about 2 to 4 hours. Vacuum up loosened soil using maximum suction and a new vacuum bag. To Clean Upholstery: Clean a small hidden area and examine for colorfastness when dry. Use on fabrics with a W or WS cleaning code. Do not use on fabrics with an S code. Do not use on velvet or silk. Vacuum prior to cleaning to remove loose soil. Holding can upside down, spray lightly and spread foam with a clean, damp, colorfast sponge or cloth. rinse sponge or cloth and squeeze until damp. Repeat as necessary. Clean a small areas at a time. Allow to dry thoroughly, then vacuum. On vinyl or plastic, wipe off foam with a clean cloth or sponge before it dries. This can will clean an area of approximately 180 square feet.


Warnings

Contents under pressure. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or heat from radiators, stoves, or water and other heat sources that may cause bursting. Do not puncture, incinerate, burn or store above 120 degrees F. Keep upright in a cool, dry place. Do not discard empty can in trash compactor. Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with eyes. Wash hands after using. First Aid: In case of eye contact, flush thoroughly with large amounts of water for 15 minutes and get medical attention. In case of respiratory difficulty, provide fresh air and call a physician. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents can be harmful or fatal. Keep out of reach of children.
