Caroline oversees EWG’s legal matters on a range of topics relating to contracts, employment, intellectual property and nonprofit tax. Prior to joining EWG, Caroline was a senior associate at a Washington, D.C., law firm where she sued government agencies for arbitrary, capricious and unlawful actions, and represented businesses and nonprofit organizations in corporate governance and contract matters. A South Carolina native, Caroline received her B.A. from the University of South Carolina and J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law. After graduating law school, she clerked for the Honorable Daniel F. Pieper at the South Carolina Court of Appeals. In her free time, Caroline enjoys running, listening to podcasts and Gamecock football.
