North City Water District

NOTE: North City Water District purchases water from Seattle Public Utilities which is required to test for chlorpyriphos. Sample information shown below was taken by Seattle Public Utilities.

Chlorpyrifos is an organophosphate pesticide that has been widely used, but in 2021, application on food crops was banned by the EPA. Exposure to chlorpyrifos during pregnancy and early life harms the developing brain, including reduced IQ, delayed development of motor and sensory functions, and social and behavioral dysfunction.
