Dibromoacetic acid

Choctaw County Rural Water System & Solid Waste Management District #6

NOTE: Choctaw County Rural Water System & Solid Waste Management District #6 purchases water from Atoka County Rural Water, Sewer & Solid Waste Management District #4 which is required to test for dibromoacetic acid. Sample information shown below was taken by Atoka County Rural Water, Sewer & Solid Waste Management District #4.

Dibromoacetic acid, one of the group of five haloacetic acids regulated by federal standards, is formed when chlorine or other disinfectants are used to treat drinking water.
