Dibromoacetic acid

Perry Center Water District

NOTE: Perry Center Water District purchases water from Perry Village which is required to test for dibromoacetic acid. Sample information shown below was taken by Perry Village.

Dibromoacetic acid, one of the group of five haloacetic acids regulated by federal standards, is formed when chlorine or other disinfectants are used to treat drinking water.
