Bad Axe

NOTE: Bad Axe purchases water from Huron Regional Water Authority which is required to test for perfluorotridecanoic acid (pftrda). Sample information shown below was taken by Huron Regional Water Authority.

Perfluorotridecanoic acid (PFTrDA) is a member of a group of perfluorinated chemicals used in many consumer products. PFTrDA and other perfluorinated chemicals can cause serious health effects, including cancer, endocrine disruption, accelerated puberty, liver and immune system damage, and thyroid changes.
