The special geological conditions characteristic of the Eifel region in Western Germany are the reason for the natural freshness and the high mineral content of Gerolsteiner Sprudel. The water seeps through layers of Devonian dolomite rock to fortify with nutritionally valuable minerals like calcium and magnesium. Gerolsteiner Mineral Water is bottled directly at the source in Gerolstein and carries the designation of "natural mineral water". Sparkling Natural Mineral Water. High Mineral Content.
