No, GMO Labeling Won’t Raise Your Food Prices

A common argument by the anti-GMO industry is that mandatory labeling would cause food prices to skyrocket. In reality, prices won’t change. 

EWG’s Scott Faber:

“Food companies change their labels all the time to highlight innovations or make new claims. Remember when General Mills changed the Cheerios box to share the good news that its iconic cereal was GMO-free? Did the price change? No.”
