Gianfranco Cesareo

Stabile Law Fellow

As EWG’s Stabile Law Fellow for 2023-2024, Gianfranco Cesareo provides support to the Government Affairs team on projects relating to PFAS, food safety and other issues, as well as in-house legal matters. Gianfranco received his bachelor’s degree in history and political science from the University of Notre Dame and law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. While in law school, he interned for several nonprofit environmental and animal advocacy organizations and was a managing editor of the Georgetown Environmental Law Review. He also worked in Georgetown’s Environmental Law and Justice Clinic, helping clients pursue environmental justice goals at both the local and federal level. In his free time, Gianfranco enjoys running or walking around D.C., cooking, and hanging out with his cat, Winter.
