Michael Cervino leads EWG’s digital analysis and technology initiatives, bringing more than two decades of experience using technology to engage consumers and build brands. Cervino’s work experience includes developing and executing successful digital strategies for the AFL-CIO and leading non-profits such as the ACLU, Conservation International, Easter Seals, Feeding America, Heifer Project International, Human Rights First, Public Citizen and the Trust for Public Land. He has designed and implemented strategic blueprints for public advocacy and fundraising campaigns for 15 non-profit clients, which altogether generated more than $240 million in donations and motivated 1 million individuals to take public action. Prior to joining EWG, Michael co-founded, grew and sold his stake in Beaconfire, a digital design agency building websites and online marketing programs for social change organizations. Previously Michael directed the non-profit strategy practice and managed services delivery teams at Commerce One, serving both nonprofit and commercial clients.
