Prior to joining EWG, Adrienne spent nearly a decade as a journalist. She worked as a political reporter for the NewsHour with Jim Lehrer, where she covered national and regional politics, including the White House, Congress and education. For five years, Adrienne was an assistant producer at Dateline, where she was part of a number of award-winning news teams. Before that, she produced stories on international sociological and human rights issues for Radio for Peace International in Costa Rica. She has also worked as a freelance writer for various publications. Adrienne earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin. In her spare time, she enjoys spinning, hiking and running.
