Directions from packaging:

For best results, pre-lighten hair to a light blonde using Manic Panic Flashlightning 30 or 40 Volume Bleach Kit. Some colors may work well on natural blonde or chemically treated hair, deeper shades may give stunning highlights to darker hair. Ready to use - do not mix with peroxide. Instructions: Shampoo hair using a pH acid balanced shampoo. Towel dry. Empty desired amount into coloring bowl. Apply evenly with a tint brush. Do not apply to scalp, but 1/2 inch from scalp. Saturate hair thoroughly. Comb evenly through the hair until it becomes frothy. Leave on hair for 15-30 minutes. For added intensity heat may be used. Rinse hair thoroughly, away from face. Fades gradually with each shampoo. Wash hair in cool water to maintain color.
