Directions from packaging:

Twist off cap to remove foil seal. Brush teeth thoroughly after each meal or at least twice a day, or as directed by a dentist or physician. Children 2 years to under 6 years : use a pea-sized amount and instruct in good brushing and rinsing habits (to minimize swallowing). Children under 2 years : consult a dentist or physician.
