Directions from packaging:

Adults and Children 12 years of age and older: Apply to affected are no more than 3 or 4 times daily. To achieve optimum pain relief, apply daily as directed. Transient burning may occur upon application, but generally disappears in several days. Wash hands thoroughly after use to avoid spreading lotion to the eyes or other sensitive areas of the body. If applying lotion to hands, wait 30 minutes before washing hands. Children under 12 years of age: Consult a doctor. Store at room temperature.

WarningsFor external use only. Do not use on damaged skin, on wounds or with a heating pad. Stop use and ask a doctor if condition worsens, symptoms persist for more than 7 days or clears up and occurs again within a few days. When using this product avoid contact with eyes, do not bandage tightly, avoid inhaling dried residue material from application site which may cause sneezing, nasal irritation or tearing. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
