Directions from packaging:

The mild soap & essential oils will clean hair gently without stripping away natural oils. Most people will not need conditioner. Very dry or course hair will benefit from a toxin-free conditioner. Shake gently. Use small amount on very wet hair. Massage into hair and scalp. Lather, rinse and repeat. Works really well as a body soap too. Put some on cloth or puff. **This is a "Made-the-Old Fashioned way" Soap. Minimal heat and processing means purer product. some separation is normal
