2,3,4,7,8-PeBDF (pentafuran) was found in 6 of 10 umbilical cord blood samples from babies born in U.S. hospitals in 2004, at concentrations ranging from 0.8 to 21.4 pg/g (lipid weight, in whole blood). It was also found in 1 of 3 adult blood samples, at a concentration of 2.8 pg/g (lipid weight, in whole blood).
