A Call on EPA to Act on GMO Weed Killer with Cancer-Risks
Last week, the World Health Organization found that glyphosate, an ingredient commonly found in herbicides used in GMO crops, is “probably carcinogenic to humans.” Now is the time for the EPA to act on the findings.
EWG’s Mary Ellen Kustin:
“The American people, not Monsanto, are the ones who should be outraged (with the WHO findings). The company promised that its GMO seeds would require less weed killer than conventional crops, yet it’s now an indisputable fact that this experiment has actually required far more toxic crop chemicals.”
