- $375 million to assist farmers transitioning to, and becoming certified as, organic
- $150 million for research on organic production and pest management
- $600 million to go to farmers markets and community supported agriculture, ensuring that local, organically grown food reaches consumers
- $25 million in funding to ensure that that National Organic Program keeps pace with the rapid growth of the organic industry
- Ensuring that organic farmers are eligible for the benefits of conservation programs that help them make and maintain the change to organic farming
