Brett joins the EWG agriculture and natural resources team after two decades as a consultant to non-profits and foundations specializing in internet communications, law, program development, fundraising and management. His clients ranged from small non-profits to major foundations to the United Nations. Being a farm boy at heart, he returned to the Midwest in 2002 to work on clean water and agricultural/land-use reform issues. He also serves as the voluntary chair of the Iowa Council of Trout Unlimited and sits on the organization’s National Leadership Council. Brett holds an undergraduate degree, a J.D. and an LL.M. in international environmental law from the University of Iowa. In his "spare" time you'll find Brett reading, fly fishing, hunting or roaming the prairies and hills of the Driftless region with his dog.
