I’ve done lots of stories over the years about the dangerous chemicals we come in contact with every day. A new small nationwide study involving 20 families shows there may be more reason to be concerned about the levels of fire retardants showing up in kids. The Environmental Working Group took blood samples from moms and their toddlers. The kids had to live in the same home and all of them were breastfed. The study found “the preschoolers typically had 3 times as much of the hormone-disrupting chemicals in their blood as their mothers.” Click here to read this post.
