Toxic Compounds Found In Children

Danger could be lurking in your home from everyday househould items. A nationwide investigation reveals exposure to flame retardant chemicals is causing toxins to accumulate in the body.Children under the age of four were found to have 3 times more neurotoxins in their blood than their mothers. According to the Environmental Working Group, Deca is the most commonly used fire retardant in US products. It can be found in household items like carpet, furniture, clothes and plastics.The group says lab tests show Deca can significantly impact children's developing brains and reproductive systems. Deca is already banned in Europe and 10 US states have proposed bans.
