Below and attached are comments EWG has submitted to the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment on the agency’s proposed No Significant Risk Limit for human intake of Monsanto’s herbicide glyphosate, also called Roundup. EWG applauds California for taking action on glyphosate, and urges state officials to enact an even stricter guideline that will protect children, not just adults, from this toxic herbicide.

Below are comments EWG has submitted in response to the Food and Drug Administration's request for input on updating its guidance on the use of “healthy” claims on packaged foods. Given the advances in nutrition research since 1994, when the FDA first proposed the framework for “healthy” labeling, a science-based revision is urgently needed.
