PCBS: DOJ Conduct 'Inappropriate' in Anniston Case, Former EPA Lawyer Says

A former U.S. EPA attorney alleged last week that her agency colleagues and Justice Department employees pressured her not to testify against a proposed PCB cleanup agreement in Anniston, Ala.
Janet MacGillivray, the former EPA attorney, said DOJ attorney Bill Weinischke engaged in "inappropriate" conduct by calling to persuade her not to testify in the matter. MacGillivray said she also received calls from EPA colleagues after the Jan. 17 hearing in which she was warned that her job performance was being investigated.
