Warnings & Directions
Directions for Use:
How to use: For wood floors, use 1/4 Cup Murphy's to 1 Gallon of water with a clean, well wrung out mop, and mop up any excess water. For other jobs and no-wax floors, dilute: 1/4 Cup Murphy's to 1 Gallon of warm water and mop up excess water; for especially tough jobs, dilute 1/2 Cup Murphy's to 1 Gallon of warm water. Note: For wood surfaces, remove excess liquid with a soft dry cloth. Murphy's cleans away wax build-up, so if you like, re-apply wax after use. If the finish appears weak or worn, test first with plain water on an inconspicuous area. For laundry stains or colorfast fabrics: wet stain and apply at full strength just prior to washing.
Caution:
Warnings: Please note: In case of eye contact rinse thoroughly with water for 15 minutes. If eye irritation persists, contact a physician. If swallowed, drink a glass of water to dilute. As with all household cleaners, keep out of reach of children. Due to formula differences, do not use as refill for Murphy's spray bottle. Not for use on unfinished wood.
Green Certifications
Design for the Environment
Design for the Environment is a voluntary program overseen by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency that works with manufacturers to make products that are safer for people and the environment. Companies may carry the Design for the Environment Seal if they formulate products with ingredients that meet standards developed through the program. Acceptable ingredients receive a green circle (low concern based on experimental and modeled data), a green half-circle (low concern based on experimental and modeled data, but with some data gaps), or a yellow triangle (some hazard concern).
