Tell the FCC and the FDA to modernize their cell phone radiation standards!
The federal government has been TOO LAX in evaluating the science and TOO SLOW in reexamining regulations. We need to join together and ask the FCC and the FDA to modernize their standards, give people the information they need, and insist that the industry offer consumers phones that operate with the least possible radiation.

TELL DEL MONTE: NO MORE BPA IN THEIR PRODUCTS!
In June, food and chemical lobbyists met in Washington, DC to save the toxic plastic chemical BPA - they're desperate to block state and federal efforts to regulate their $6 billion industry.
We were shocked when we read their 
internal meeting memos, which revealed a dangerous and unethical strategy to keep your family eating and drinking from BPA-laden containers - despite the mounting scientific evidence that exposure to even extremely low levels of BPA can impact health, particularly during early infancy.
TAKE ACTION! Tell Del Monte that their tactics are dangerous and unethical and you want the BPA gone.
Since 2003, the number of mining claims within five miles of Grand Canyon National Park has increased from 10 to more then 1,100. These claims threaten our national heritage, as well as the drinking water of millions in the Southwest. Secretary Salazar just approved more and we want him to start saying "no."

LESS ROCKET FUEL IN OUR WATER, PLEASE!
Reduce infants' exposure to rocket fuel in powdered formula. Researchers from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have reported that 15 brands of powdered infant formula are contaminated with perchlorate, a rocket fuel component detected in drinking water in 28 states and territories.
TAKE ACTION! Tell EPA you deserve safe drinking water.
LESS MERCURY IN OUR LIGHTBULBS, PLEASE!
Tell Energy Star: Lower the mercury content in CFLs. Energy Star allows its seal on compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFL) that contain up to 5 times as much mercury as a state of the art bulb. Write to the Energy Star program to tell them that you want the seal to go hand-in-hand with the best technology available.
TAKE ACTION! Send an email to the EPA Energy Star program to reduce mercury in CFLs.
BABIES ARE BORN PRE-POLLUTED. LET'S CHANGE THAT.
The human race is now polluted with hundreds of industrial chemicals – with little or no understanding of the consequences. Babies are born pre-polluted with as many as 300 industrial chemicals in their bodies when they enter the world. Our current federal chemical law is clearly failing us. We need the Kid-Safe Chemicals Act to protect human health from the thousands of toxic industrial chemicals on the market today.
